Overview

Working on a client specific team, this position serves as the primary customer service and administrative contact for all claims.  Key tasks include the processing of incoming claim assignments, working with vehicle owners and vendors to facilitate needed repairs, as well as collecting all pertinent documentation required to process each claim.

Education & Training

  • Associates degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures
  • Proficient typist

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process incoming claim assignments
  • Make initial contact with vehicle owners to set expectations, gain additional loss information, and assist with the selection of an appropriate vendor to complete needed repairs.
  • Make vendor assignments and coordinate the procurement of repair estimates and photos
  • Re-key vendor repair estimates into claims system
  • Maintain thorough records for all relevant claim file activity 
  • Assist technical team in collecting required information from clients, vehicle owners and vendors as needed
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints  
  • Escalate customer complaints as appropriate
