  • Commercial vehicle appraisal or loss adjusting experience
  • Knowledge of collision repair estimating practices and procedures

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Audit collision repair estimates to validate scope and to verify that projected costs are within industry standards
  • Utilize independent judgment and discretion to evaluate repair vs. replace decisions
  • Ensure that specific client requirements are applied to audit methodology
  • Gain acceptance for estimate revisions, or negotiate an acceptable alternative
  • Audit supplemental repair bills to evaluate validity and cost
  • Assist clients and vehicle owners with technical questions
  • Recommend indemnity payments to clients
  • Maintain thorough records for all relevant claim file activity
  • Process client billings
  • Approve and deliver final work product to clients
